Getting to The Wilds
The Wilds is located in rural southeastern Ohio, spanning 10,000 acres of pastures, grasslands, forests, and lakes. It is located roughly 2 hours from Columbus, OH, as the nearest major city and airport.
The Wilds and the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium are located 2 hours apart, and guests should plan accordingly if planning to travel to both.
Winter at The Wilds
YES, The Wilds is open in the winter! Ohio's most incredible safari park and conservation center offers offers incredible one-of-a-kind experiences for guests of all ages. These tours are offered November 1 - April 30.
