Where We're Located
The Wilds is located in rural southeastern Ohio, spanning 10,000 acres of pastures, grasslands, forests, and lakes. It is located roughly two hours from Columbus, OH, as the nearest major city and airport.
The Wilds and the Columbus Zoo are located two hours apart, and guests should plan accordingly if planning to travel to both.

From the West (via Columbus)
- I-70 E to New Concord (Exit 169)
- Proceed on SR 83 S 12 miles to Cumberland
- Turn right onto SR 146 W
- Proceed 5 miles; turn left onto Zion Ridge Road
- Proceed 3.5 miles; turn left onto SR 284
- Proceed 1 mile; turn left onto International Road
- Proceed 1/2 mile to The Wilds' entrance
From the South (via Marietta, OH)
- I-77 N to Belle Valley (Exit 28)
- Turn right onto SR 821 N
- Proceed 1 mile; turn left onto SR 340
- Proceed 7 miles to Cumberland; turn left onto SR 146 W
- Proceed 5 miles; turn left onto Zion Ridge Road
- Proceed 3.5 miles; turn left onto SR 284
- Proceed 1 mile; turn left onto International Road
- Proceed 1/2 mile to The Wilds' entrance
From the East (via Wheeling, WV)
- I-70 W to New Concord / SR 83 S (Exit 169)
- Proceed on SR 83 S 12 miles to Cumberland

From the North (via Cleveland, OH)
- I-77 S to I-70 W at Cambridge
- Follow I-70 W to New Concord / SR 83 S (Exit 169)
- Proceed on SR 83 S 12 miles to Cumberland
- Turn right onto SR 146 W
- Proceed 5 miles; turn left onto Zion Ridge Road
- Proceed 3.5 miles; turn left onto SR 284
- Proceed 1 mile; turn left onto International Road

Know Before You Go
- The Wilds is in a rural setting with intermittent cell and internet service.
- Google and Apple Maps should not be solely relied upon for directions. Please follow the directions we have outlined below.
- Do not use rideshare services (Uber/Lyft/cab, etc.) to travel to The Wilds. While guests may find a rideshare in a larger metropolitan area that accepts the request to take them to The Wilds, there are no rideshare programs that serve the rural area of the state where The Wilds is located, potentially leaving the guest without a ride back to their starting point.
- The nearest gas station is approximately 15 miles away from The Wilds. Please plan accordingly for your travels.
Parking
Guests to The Wilds will park at the lower parking lot and be shuttled to the check-in building upon arrival unless otherwise directed. Parking is $9.
