Your Visit to The Wilds Has a Purpose.

Every safari, tour, overnight stay, and adventure at The Wilds helps protect wildlife. Your visit directly supports conservation efforts that are safeguarding endangered species in Ohio and around the world, making you part of the story from the moment you arrive.

Tucked into the rolling hills of southeast Ohio, The Wilds is North America's largest conservation center, spanning nearly 10,000 acres. Land that was once strip mined has been transformed into thriving habitat where wildlife, science, and conservation work hand in hand. Here, experts care for some of the world's rarest animals, restore native ecosystems, and conduct research that helps protect species for generations to come. For some critically endangered animals, conservation centers like The Wilds provide a vital lifeline for the future of their species.
