Horsin’ Around is a brand-new, family-friendly experience at The Wilds, and if you’ve ever dreamed of spending a day with horses, this is your chance to hang out with our herd and experience the life of a true Horseback Specialist.
During this hands-on adventure, you’ll:
- Learn the basics of horse care, from grooming to feeding and even bathing these beautiful animals
- Create your very own hoofprint art to take home as a keepsake
- Help provide enrichment activities that keep our horses happy and healthy
- Snuggle up and shower our noble steeds with all the attention they deserve
- To top it all off, you’ll enjoy refreshing drinks and delicious cookies as part of your day of horsin’ around.

Know Before You Go
- Maximum of 8 guests per experience
- This experience does not include a horseback ride. Book a Horseback Safari at The Wilds here.
- Please plan to arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled tour time. Please do not enter the horse barn until instructed by Horseback staff. To make the check-in process faster, please fill out your waiver online in advance of your visit.
- Please come dressed for the weather. This experience is outside in an non-climate controlled barn and lasts approximately 1 hour. Closed-toed shoes are required.
- Reservations must be made 4 hours in advance.
- This experience typically runs rain or shine. In the case of extreme weather, sessions may be canceled and guests will be offered to reschedule or refund.
