Range: East Asia, Northeast Asia, including parts of Russia
Red-crowned cranes have faced a population decline as human population expands and agriculture and industrial growth lead to increased degradation of wetland habitat. The Wilds has worked with other organizations to breed these cranes in captivity and then reintroduce them to their native habitat. Not viewable on Safari tour.
