SCOUT DAY VENTURE
Scout Day Ventures are a great way to enhance your scouts’ learning in a unique environment. These three hour programs are designed for groups ranging in size from 15-70 people. During your Day Venture, your scouts will participate in activities and tour part of the Wilds.
Topics are:
Amazing Adaptations – Grades 3 – 6
Habitats are Where It’s At – Grades 3 – 5
Aquatic Ecology – Grades 7 – 12
Wild Scientists: Career Exploration – Grades 8 – 12
Behind the Scenes Tour – All Ages
Cost - $10/scout

SCOUT DAY BADGE PROGRAM
Come spend a day with us at the Wilds having fun and working towards a badge!
We strive to achieve as many requirements as we can between the 10:00 AM– 3:00 PM timeframe with your scouts. We can accommodate groups from 15-70 people.
Boy Scouts – we have a Merit Badge Counselor onsite to help sign off on your blue cards!
SCOUT YURT CAMP OVERNIGHT
Overnight camps are a great way for your scouts to get immersed in the Wilds! You can sign up for one or more nights as part of your experience. Scouts will experience a naturalist led pasture tour, night hikes, campfires and hands on activities in the field. You can also choose to work towards a badge while you are here.
Boy Scouts – we have a Merit Badge Counselor onsite to help sign off on your blue cards!
Campers will stay in the Robert W. Teater Conservation Education Camp. The camp is equipped with modern restroom facilities (including shower) and three meals provided by the Wilds’ Overlook Restaurant. The camp can accommodate 15-48 people.
Programs start at 1:00 PM on the arrival date and last until noon (12:00 PM) on the departure date.
Cost - $80/participant

SCOUT SLEEPOVER
Spend the night at the Wilds! Overnights are designed for both Boy Scout and Girl Scout groups. You can work on a badge program or participate in a Wilds’ education programs that teach fun and interesting facts about nature and wildlife!
Cost: $35.00/person (does not include meals)
$45.00/person (includes pizza dinner, evening snack and continental breakfast)
Time: 6:00 PM through 11:00 AM the following day
Min: 15 paying guests
Max: 30 guests
Note: One chaperone required for every 8 children (free once minimum of 15 paying guests is met)

Scout Badge Program or a Wilds’ Education Program
Pasture Tour (May – October)
Facility Tour (November – April)
Live Animal Encounter
Night time movie party
Open Air Safari Pass (valid for one season only)
Accommodations: Guests will be staying in the Conservation Science Training Center Class Room. Please feel free to bring cots or air mattresses. The Training Center is equipped with a refrigerator and freezer for food storage and also has a microwave.
