Lunch and Open Air Safari
With a special presentation from Jack – 11 a.m.
Enjoy a light lunch with Jack at 11 before you Board an Open-Air Safari vehicle for a premium day-tour experience, providing outstanding opportunities for wildlife viewing and photography. A knowledgeable guide will take you through the Wilds' open-range animal areas and then lead you to the Robert W Teater Conservation Education Camp where Jack Hanna will give one of his famous animal presentations and mingle with the group.
Cost: $75/person, $70/Wilds or Columbus Zoo members
Open Air Safari
With a special presentation from Jack – 1 p.m., and 2 p.m.
Board an Open-Air Safari vehicle for a premium day-tour experience, providing outstanding opportunities for wildlife viewing and photography. A knowledgeable guide will take you through the Wilds' open-range animal areas and then lead you to the Robert W Teater Conservation Education Camp where Jack Hanna will give one of his famous animal presentations and mingle with the group.
Cost: $50/person, $45/Wilds or Columbus Zoo members
Wildside Tour
With a special, private meet-and-greet with Jack Hanna – 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
This exclusive tour, limited to eight guests per vehicle, gives you the opportunity to interact with animal management specialists to see the Wilds at work. The tours will be three hours long and include a private meet-and-greet and photo opportunity with Jungle Jack. Must be age 4 or older.
Cost: $150/person, $125/Wilds or Columbus Zoo members
Jungle Jack's Sunset Safari – 4:30 p.m. (ages 16 and over)
Twilight is a magical time of day to experience the Wilds. Your Sunset Safari tour begins at 4:30pm with an Open-Air Safari transport for a guided tour through the Wilds’ open-range animal areas when the animals are most active at feeding time. View rhinos, giraffes, antelope and other rare and endangered animals roaming in large, natural habitats as you enjoy the evening sunset. Be sure to bring your camera! Along the way, Jungle Jack will spend time on your safari vehicle – experiencing the amazing animals of the Wilds right along with you. After the tour, Jack will join you for a buffet dinner, prepared by the Wilds' professional chef, at the Overlook Café.
