Adult and Family Camps

FOR ADULTS

 

PHOTO SAFARI CAMP

Head out on safari in search of Asian rhinos, African antelope, soaring raptors and spectacular scenery – without ever leaving Ohio!  Learn photo techniques from expert photographers and build your portfolio of stunning flora, landscapes and wildlife during this exclusive opportunity.  Facilitated by Jerry and Barbara Jividen of Naturally Wild Photo Adventures.
 
Lodging: Overnight accommodations at the Wilds’ Conservation Education Camp are provided.  Participants will be separated into male and female housing.  If you would like more private accommodations, please feel free to bring your own tent and camping equipment. Spaces are limited.
 
Meals:  Friday evening snacks; Saturday breakfast, lunch, dinner; Sunday breakfast
Date: September 20-22, 2013
Time: 6 p.m. Friday – 12 p.m. Sunday
Cost: $399/person
Note: This camp is designed for those ages 18 and older.

FOR FAMILIES

 

FAMILY CAMPS

Overnight camps are a fun way for your family to spend time together and enjoy the Wilds!  During your stay, you will experience a naturalist led pasture tour, night hikes, campfires and hands on activities in the field.
 
Campers will stay in the Robert W. Teater Conservation Education Camp.  The camp is equipped with modern restroom facilities (including shower) and three meals provided by the Wilds’ Overlook Restaurant.  
 
Programs start at 6 p.m. on the arrival date and last until 12:30 p.m. on the departure date. 
Cost – Members: $125/participant.
           Non-Members: $150/participant.
