Photo Safari at the Wilds Oct. 13

Cumberland, OH (Sept. 24, 2007) – The Wilds Photo Safari, a special tour designed specifically for photography enthusiasts and professional photographers, will take place from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at the Wilds.

This exclusive tour will include opportunities to capture images of both native and managed species at the Wilds, plus spectacular scenery and landscapes.

The guided experience will provide up-close encounters with about 25 managed species living in open-range areas at the Wilds, including rhinos, giraffes, antelope, and cheetahs.

In addition, the tour will explore parts of the Wilds’ 10,000 acres for opportunities to photograph native species like raptors, butterflies, and other wildlife in prairie, wetland, and forest habitats, with the fall foliage enhancing the visual landscape.

Space is limited and reservations are required. Registration fee is $100 per person and includes breakfast, lunch, and tours. A Wilds membership is required to attend this special event. Call 740-638-5030 x2286 to register.
