Release of Endangered American Burying Beetles June 24 at the Wilds Cancelled

MEDIA ADVISORY:

Due to unforeseen circumstances, there has been a change in the plan to release endangered American burying beetles set to take place Tuesday, June 24 at the Wilds. This year’s release will be shifted to Wayne National Forest and will take place Wednesday, June 25. The role of the Wilds as a release site is being re-evaluated and will be determined in the future.
